About us

The Association of Sisterhoods of Kenya (AOSK) is an umbrella body of Catholic women religious, established in 1962. Currently, the association has a membership of 190 congregations representing over 10,000 Catholic sisters in Kenya. Our Impact areas include youth empowerment, healthcare, nurturing care for children, pastoral ministry, safeguarding, peacebuilding, environmental conservation, countering human trafficking, research, and generally integral human development. We have decades of transformation in the lives of children, youth, women, persons with disabilities, survivors of human trafficking, women and men religious, and other marginalized populations.
